Masatsugu (played by Takahashi Hideki), also known as "Shoryu (climbing dragon) no Masa", a yakuza member kills the leader of the Nogami-gumi as an assassin of the Ajiro-clan. Little did he know he’d killed the leader just before his daughter’s wedding. As a result of this killing, the wedding was called off. Masatsugu deeply regretted having done this and feeing deceived by the Ajiro clan, flees the city. Maki, the slain leader’s daughter cannot forgive this, decides to avenge her father's death and sets off in search of the man with the climbing dragon on his back.
